·       Steinway and sons Model “M” serial number 176298 

·       In mahogany finish with matching bench.

·       Production Date : 07-12-1916

Condition:

·       Case no visible signs of damage

·       Veneer and original case in fair conditions.

·       Sound board perfect.

·       Ribs perfect

·       Bridges, no apparent cracks

·       Pinblock – 4 .0   oversize pins

·       Strings are rusty and need to be replaced

·       Dampers –originals hard need to be replaced

·       Damper guide rail– minor  looseness

·       Hammerhead –replaced with non Steinway parts

·       Shanks and flanges—replaced since original had verdigris

·       Key brushing are in good conditions

·       Key tops replaced with plastic.

·        Repetitions original have verdigris

·       Backchecks, trapworks, plate and Agraffes are all in fair condition.

·       Downbearing and crown are in good conditions.

·       The piano as is has wonderful tone range

·       The piano has never been in a flood.
